1. GROUP- C CATEGORY (FOLK DANCER)
No. of Vacancies: 01 Nos.
Educational Qualification: i) Passed 12th (10+2) or its equivalent examination with not less than 50% marks in aggregate (50% marks is not required for SC/ST, Ex-Servicemen candidates and the candidates of any category who are possessing higher qualification).
ii) Possession of Degree/ Diploma/ Certificate in specified cultural discipline from Govt. recognized Institution.
Desirable: i) Experience in the relevant field and performance given on AIR/ Doordarshan etc.
ii) Awards/ Prizes won at National level.
iii) Proficiency in contemporary dance will be added qualification. Preference will be given who has both qualifications.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 30 years as on 01/01/2019.
2. GROUP- C CATEGORY (VOCALIST)
No. of Vacancies: 01 Nos.
Educational Qualification: i) Passed 12th (10+2) or its equivalent examination with not less than 50% marks in aggregate (50% marks is not required for SC/ST, Ex-Servicemen candidates and the candidates of any category who are possessing higher qualification).
ii) Possession of Degree/ Diploma/ Certificate in specified cultural discipline from Govt. recognized Institution.
Desirable: i) Experience in the relevant field and performance given on AIR/ Doordarshan etc.
ii) Awards/ Prizes won at National level.
iii) Proficiency in performing Folk songs will be added qualification. Preference will be given who has both qualifications.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 30 years as on 01/01/2019.
The vacancies are against Cultural Quota for the year 2018-19 at Chittaranjan Locomotive Works, Chittaranjan. Both Male and Female candidates are eligible to apply.
The candidates having no cultural qualifications need not apply for the above posts.
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Written Test, Practical Demonstration and Assessment of Talent in the relevant cultural discipline on the basis of Testimonials/ Prizes etc.

Application Fee: Candidates must pay Rs.500/- (Rs.250/- for SC/ST, Women, Ex-Servicemen, Minorities, PWD and EBC candidates) as Application Fee. Fee can be paid through Indian Postal Order (IPO) drawn in favour of Principal Financial Advisor, Chittaranjan Locomotive Works, Chittaranjan.
